| Ho, ho, ho! Wow, is it December already? Time for family, baking, sharing the holidays with loved ones…and curling up with a good book. If you haven’t read the latest Shayla Black release, TEMPT ME WITH DARKNESS, pick one up at a bookstore near you and find out why Publisher’s Weekly called it “orgasmic” and Lara Adrian raved, saying, “Tempt Me With Darkness is a hot, exciting romance filled with intriguing characters and a great storyline. I can’t wait for more in this imaginative, sizzling new series!”
As Shelley Bradley, I have new print releases for you now…and after the new year! The Lady and The Dragon released in print on September 30. My first historical is available again! And in mid-January, watch out for my anthology with Jaci Burton, Sneak Peek. It’s available in print from most online bookstores and Barnes & Noble locations.
Hopefully, the warmth of the season and a few sexy books will make the holidays toasty and pleasant. Have a great December. See you in 2009!

| The holiday season is starting early for me this year and with this happy news, it's bound to be a cool Yule. I found out just before Thanksgiving that Lifetime Television is developing KILLER HAIR and HOSTILE MAKEOVER, the first and third books in my Lacey Smithsonian Crime of Fashion mysteries, as movies for the Lifetime Movie Network! Principal photography is slated to start in January in Canada, and the movies will be shot back to back for broadcast sometime in 2009. My producer Rona Edwards has informed me that screenwriters and a director have now been hired, but the movies have not yet been cast. I have more details on my blog at http://ellenbyerrum.livejournal.com/ Please stop by and read all about it. I'm also going to be talking about how this deal developed in further blog posts. Stay tuned. And by the way, my latest book, ARMED AND GLAMOROUS, as well as GRAVE APPAREL (a Christmas Mystery) make great holiday gifts. Whichever holiday you celebrate, do make merry and enjoy your friends and family. Visit

| Oh, how I love the holiday season! And this year's special to me, not only because it's been two years since my breast cancer diagnosis (I'm doing great, happier and healthier than ever); but I'm a married woman and soon to be an aunt for the second time. So there's plenty to celebrate in my house! I'm also on deadline, finishing up GLOVES OFF, the third in my young adult series for Random house, due out in March of 2010. LOVE, LIES, AND TEXAS DIPS will be out in June of 2009, and I'm still abuzz over the release of THE DEBS this past September. So consider putting it on your holiday gift list! I'll be at the Brighton Collectibles store in the St. Louis Galleria on Friday, December 12 at 6 p.m., signing copies of THE DEBS while the Brighton Babes wear tiaras and gloves and serve refreshments (how fun is that?!). I'm also sponsoring a Holi-DEBS contest on my web site, giving away a signed copy of THE DEBS and a signed ARC for LOVE, LIES, AND TEXAS DIPS, plus a tiara, faux pearls, and more. Definitely check that out! And if you're a bookseller, blogger, or librarian and would like gorgeous DEBS bookmarks to give-away to readers, let me know and I'll get them in the mail ASAP. Hey, it's all about sharing, right? Here's wishing everyone a warm and wonderful holiday season...and a book-tacular New Year! Cheers! Visit

| Great Read! A new historical romance novel called Slave Girl by Sheniqua Waters is a great read!
Kidnapped from her home in Cairo, Egypt, Laila is placed on an auction block in Constantinople and sold to a wealthy man and his daughter. Unhappy as a maid and leery of the lustful advances of her owner, Laila dreams of returning to her home.
Laila is sold to a Turkish harem where she must decide if she will succumb to the desires of her new owner, Kudar al Numan. When Laila is given an opportunity to return to the family she left behind, little does she know that the offer has been concocted by a vengeful foe eager to keep the couple apart. Laila must make a choice…return to the family she left behind or remain in her new life with her new love. Either choice may be seen as an act of betrayal.
Will Laila return to her homeland or will she forever remain Kudar's slave girl? And does going back to relive the past mean there is no hope for the future?
